01

Agreement and eligibility

These Terms of Service form an agreement between you and Kaurispring LLC, operating as CrispScribe, when you access or use the service. You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into an agreement. If you do not agree, do not use CrispScribe.

02

Your account

Provide accurate account information, keep your sign-in credentials secure and tell us promptly if you believe someone else has accessed your account. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account. Google sign-in is subject to Google's own terms and privacy practices.

03

The service and AI output

CrispScribe currently provides browser-based audio transcription, local recording management and text export. The speech model runs on your device. Automated output can omit or misrecognize words, speakers, names, numbers and context. Review output before relying on it or sharing it. CrispScribe is not a certified transcription, legal, medical or safety service.

04

Your content and processing permission

You retain the rights you hold in the media you select and the content you create. In the current browser-local mode, you authorize CrispScribe to provide the local application features you request; the audio and transcript stay in your browser and are not uploaded to CrispScribe. If a separately identified cloud feature is introduced later, it will process content only after the feature and its processing terms are presented to you. You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to process the media and that any required consent has been obtained from people whose voices or personal information appear in it.

05

Acceptable use

You may not use CrispScribe to break the law, violate another person's rights or interfere with the service. In particular:

  • Do not submit content you are not authorized to process or disclose.
  • Do not record or transcribe private conversations without consent required by law.
  • Do not circumvent access controls, quotas or technical limits, or use the service to scrape content in bulk.
  • Do not use edited or generated transcripts to falsely attribute statements to a person.
  • Do not probe, disrupt, overload or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service or another user's account.
06

Plans and payments

The Pricing page describes the current guest, free and proposed Pro allowances. This source build does not enforce monthly minute quotas or collect payments. If paid plans or enforced quotas are introduced, the applicable price, renewal, cancellation and usage terms will be shown before you enroll or incur a charge. No paid subscription is created by using the current build.

07

Intellectual property and feedback

CrispScribe and its licensors retain rights in the service software, interface, name, branding and original materials. These Terms do not transfer those rights to you. If you send suggestions or feedback, you allow us to use them to improve the service without payment; we will not publicly identify you as the source without permission.

08

Availability and changes

We may update, maintain, suspend or discontinue features to operate or improve the service. We will provide reasonable notice when a change materially affects existing users, where practical and required by law.

09

Suspension and termination

You may stop using CrispScribe at any time and may request account deletion by emailing [email protected]. We may suspend or terminate access if needed to address a material breach, abuse, a security risk or a legal requirement. Where practical, we will explain the reason and give you an opportunity to appeal by contacting [email protected].

10

Disclaimers and liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CrispScribe is provided on an ‘as available’ basis without warranties that the law allows us to exclude. CrispScribe is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary or consequential losses arising from use of the service. Nothing in these Terms limits a right or liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

11

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming and applicable United States federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Subject to any non-waivable rights under applicable law, the state and federal courts located in Sheridan County, Wyoming have jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms or the service. No arbitration, class-action waiver or jury waiver is imposed by these Terms.

12

Changes and contact

We may update these Terms and will post the current version on this page with its effective date. If a change materially affects your rights, we will provide reasonable notice where appropriate. Kaurispring LLC operates CrispScribe. Questions or appeals may be sent to [email protected] or by mail to 30 N Gould St, Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA.
